Rose Wynters ~Spotlight~Giveaway

Rose Wynters
Rubenesque Rapture (Book 1, The Endurers)

Blurb:
Once upon a time, the world was just a black void. Then one day man came, but he wasn’t alone. He was followed by an ancient evil, a scourge determined to steal his soul. Centuries passed. Humanity did all it could to protect itself against the evil ones, but they weren’t equipped to fight this battle. Instead, all they could do was pray that Hell didn’t set its eyes upon them.
It got to be too much. Something had to be done.
Born out of desperate need, warriors were chosen. Immortality was granted to those strong enough to fight the battle that would never end. No longer mortal, these men have stood in the path of dark and horrifying evil, bearing the load when there was nobody else that could.
It’s all coming to an end. Time has ran out for humanity…

Hell is hot to get their hands on Anna Andrews, determined to use her plus-sized body for breeding purposes. Attacked by demons in her remote cabin in Alaska, she is sure there is no way out until a mysterious Endurer rescues her at the last moment. He’s been sent to get her to safety in Las Vegas, but he never counted on the sexual attraction that flares immediately between them.
Shayne McLoughlin was born in the 1400’s and lived as a Monk until a brutal attack destroyed his entire family, changing his life forever. Now an immortal Endurer that protects humanity from demonic beings, he expects his next assignment to be like any other. Until he meets the rubenesque beauty he has been sent to protect.
On the race to reach the safety of Las Vegas, they discover an explosive attraction that can’t be ignored. He can battle the demons that want her, but can he have victory over the power of her mind? Plagued by her past and an ex-boyfriend that used her in an attempt to satisfy his debt to Hell, Anna finds it hard to believe this gorgeous man is serious about her.
As the very world stands on the cusp of Armageddon, Shayne is determined to have this full-figured beauty at any cost. There isn’t any rule he won’t break to claim Anna and keep her. Danger follows their every step as passion ignites at every turn. Is it a battle this Endurer can win?

Two taller, grotesque creatures started towards them, their red eyes gleaming unnaturally in the twilight of the evening.
Shayne was ready for them, an ornately carved dagger in each hand. “You girls looking to play?” he asked, his velvety, deep voice cutting through the night. “I know I am. Look, I’m even wearing my play clothes.” He was dressed completely in black.
The two glanced at each other before charging him as one. Shayne met them in a running leap just seconds before the two screamed in pain. The daggers moved quickly and immediately one of the demons fell, smoke rising from its body.
He glanced over to the last one standing and shook his head in disgust. His knife had carved deeply into the side of his face, leaving the flesh gaping open. Copious amounts of black fluid poured out, and he was missing an ear.
Damn,” he said as his lip curled up in a sneer. “You guys just get uglier and uglier, don’t you? It looks like your face caught on fire and someone tried to put it out with a fork.”
He could see three more hellions spread out in the parking lot, but they paused at his words. They knew he was an Endurer, with the full backing of Heaven behind him. The evil inside of them naturally recoiled from the purity contained within his daggers and sword. It didn’t stop the demon in front of him though. “What a great idea,” he growled at Shayne. “I’ll have fun trying it out on you in Hell.”
Shayne beckoned with his hand as he said mockingly, “You, I’m going to kill just to put you out of your misery.”
All pretense at humanity faded. The white skin darkened to a disgusting shade of dark green and thick horns erupted from its skull. This was the true form of the minion, and it wasn’t pretty.
Shayne glanced around the parking lot quickly but didn’t expect to see any witnesses. The remote location was one of the reasons he had chose this motel. It was small and generally stayed vacant, and he wouldn’t have to worry about human casualties.
He looked back at the demon, determined to goad him into an attack. It would just be one less evil to deal with in the future. “Well?” he asked, beckoning again with his hand. “You going to stand there all day looking ugly? Let’s get this over with. I’ve got more important things to do like wash my hair.”
You’ll never win,” the enraged demon said, his voice harsh and distorted. “There are millions of us, and just one of you.” Giant black wings erupted from its back as it prepared to take flight. “The master is coming home to take his throne, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.”
Two red eyes settled upon Anna as it rose up in the air. She recoiled back against the wall, panting in fear. His eyes were ancient, deadly, and full of pure evil as he said, “We’ll be meeting again.” With a sinister laugh he leaped into the sky and flew away, the other demons quickly following.
Shayne stood eerily still for a moment, breathing deep. His hands clenched and unclenched as he fought to get control of himself. After a moment, he bent over and collected his weapons.

Curvaceous Condemnation  (Book 2, The Endurers)

Death. Pain. Tragedy….
For Endurer Vincent Chavalerio, immortality has brought nothing but torment and misery. Cursed to forever watch his soul mate die, one night it becomes too much. In a moment of devastation, Vincent makes a decision that will alter his life forever.
Plus-sized Scarlett Hamilton is desperate to learn how to live again after the death of her fiance, Niles. She’s sent to list a historic mansion in New Orleans, but she ends up buying it for herself. Little does she know, there is already someone living within the walls and a gateway to Hell in the backyard.
Scarlett believes she is haunted by a gorgeous ghost, but his reaction to her body comes from a red-blooded male. After being asleep for two hundred years, he’s desperate to seduce her. Scarlett soon discovers an erotic passion in the immortal’s arms, but he’s still determined to let her go. Will he move past his grief and indifference enough to recognize what’s waiting right in front of him?
The demon that cursed him won’t release Vincent, even if it means the destruction of New Orleans. One night, a devastating tragedy occurs. Hell fulfills an accepted bargain, condemning the city in the process. Time has ran out. Vincent has to see the truth, or he will lose Scarlett, and his own destiny, forever.

“Veronique? They have names?”
“Yes, but don’t ever use their names. Ever. When a human uses their name, it makes them more powerful. It’s almost like worship to them, and worship gives them strength. An Endurer has protection against this, but you don’t. Never speak it, even if you know it.”
“Okay,” she replied. “You won’t have to tell me twice. How do you know her name?”
It was a question he had no intention of answering, at least not now. He wanted to bed her, badly. The last thing he needed to mention was women had died because of him. Somehow, he didn’t think that would help his cause. “It doesn’t matter. What does matter is freeing you from the curse.”
She remembered her parents and gasped, eyes widening with horror. “My mom and dad are coming for an overnight visit Saturday. What am I going to do?”
“Try to cancel. If you can’t, we’ll work around it. Who knows? Maybe we will have the curse broke by then.” He doubted it, but kept his doubts to himself. Where was Arch when you really needed him?
“I’m going to call a priest in to bless the house. Maybe he can shed some light on the situation,” Vincent continued gruffly. He was going to keep a better eye on her from here on out, no more midnight raids on her refrigerator unless she was with him.
His stomach rumbled at the thought of her cooking. The woman could cook like nobody’s business, and the leftovers were heavenly. His metabolism was extremely high due to the constant renewing of his body, and it gave him an extraordinarily high appetite.
The sound drew her attention, and she stared at him, as he blushed in embarrassment. “Nice to know you really are human,” she said with a small smile. “At least now I know what’s been happening to my leftovers.”
“Sorry,” he replied sheepishly. “They were delicious.”
She felt strangely pleased that he liked her cooking. It was flattering. She was sure in his lifetime he’d had all types of food, but he enjoyed hers. “Well then, I guess I’ll be going to the store more often,” she said smiling, feeling the blush spreading across her cheeks.
Her arms began to ache, and she looked down to see what was wrong. In the light, she could see the dark purple bruises marring the paleness of her skin. They seemed to worsen by the minute.
He saw them too and growled. Moving quickly, he knelt in the floor in front of her, noting each and every purple spot. “The demon hurt you,” he said softly, but she could hear the anger in his tone. “For that, he will painfully die.”
Suddenly his mood changed. Slowly, he raised his head, his heated eyes meeting her dazed ones. He held her gaze for a moment before leaning forward and kissing each bruise.
He took his slow, sweet time, his firm lips highly erotic against her skin. She groaned softly at the tantalizing sweep of his tongue against each one. Her nipples beaded underneath the thin material of her nightgown in reaction.
His eyes glittered when he saw the visible response of her body to his mouth. The very air was charged with an erotic energy that singed both of them with its intensity. Her body grew hot with a burning need that demanded to be fulfilled.
He could sense it with his supernatural senses. He gave her a smile full of sexual promise. “I want to make love with you, Scarlett. Will you allow me?”

Each day brings them one step closer to Armageddon…. And Hell keeps upping the ante. When citizens start disappearing, The Endurers work hard to find the group of demons responsible before they die.
It all comes to shattering climax when one of their own experiences a horrendous act that devastates his life and leaves him in shame. Evil knows no bounds and is determined to walk away the winner. Can Peter capture his queen in time?

Her body was mouthwateringly gorgeous, but painfully thin. He walked closer to her, his eyes quickly scanning each injury. She was covered in scratches, cuts, welts, and bruises. They were fully setting in, and he knew they would look much worse before ever looking better. He growled when he saw the fingertip bruises on her throat.
“He choked you?” He enunciated each word, anger making his tone thick and dangerous, even to his own ears. He wasn’t sure why he felt so overwhelmingly protective over her, but something about her made him extremely possessive. It was a foreign emotion, and one he wasn’t quite sure how to handle.
Her slender hand moved up to her throat gently, her painted red nails erotic against the pale skin. “He must have. It all happened so fast. All I know is that I fought hard to get away from him.” Her hazel eyes shut briefly as she inhaled, struggling for control.
She was so damned delicate he couldn’t believe she had walked away from her encounter. Her fragile state reminded him of her mortality, and it angered him. He shoved a hand through his hair in frustration.
“Why in the hell are you so damn thin? Are you sick, or have you been dieting?” He spat the last word out at her, as she pulled the towel free from her hair to comb through the silky strands.
He suspected it was the latter, and he couldn’t understand why women were so obsessed with it. She was so damned beautiful, exuding a raw sexuality that was making the caveman in him roar to life. Desperately he fought the sensual weave she was unconsciously weaving, but it was a battle he was losing fast.
“You look like death, and you’re way too slender. You’re lucky to still be alive.”
She narrowed her eyes at him, as a look of irritation and something unidentifiable flickered across her face. Her arms crossed across her chest before she briefly looked away, her cheeks pink. When she turned back to him, she was completely in control.
“Get laid much, Peter? If that’s your approach, I’m surprised you aren’t a virgin. My weight isn’t any of your business, so butt out. Besides, men love my body.”
He growled, enraged at the thought of another man seeing her. She’d just waved a red flag in front of this bull, and it was a challenge he wouldn’t back down from. When he spoke, his voice was deathly quiet and cold as ice. “Really? Let a lot of them see it, huh?”
She flushed, but didn’t back down. “What’s it to you, one way or another?”
“Nothing,” he responded, his face serious and his voice harsh with lust. “It was nothing to me before tonight. That was before you walked into my bedroom naked, your body begging for this hard shaft between my legs. While you’re in here, you won’t be talking or even thinking about other men. You’ll be too busy thinking about me, feeling me, as I bring that sweet area between your legs pleasure like it has never known before… Or will again. ”

The most explosive book in this series…
Once upon a time, the world was just a black void. Then one day man came, but he wasn’t alone. He was followed by an ancient evil, a scourge determined to steal his soul. Centuries passed. Humanity did all it could to protect itself against the evil ones, but they weren’t equipped to fight this battle. Instead, all they could do was pray that Hell didn’t set its eyes upon them.

It’s all coming to an end. Time has ran out for humanity…
No good deed goes unpunished…
Ian Bauer was the Endurer that had it all. With great looks and plenty of money, he had never regretted his immortality… But fate had other plans for him.
Reeling from a tragic event, he’s forced back into the fight between good and evil when demons set their sights on an mortal angel. He has to keep her alive for four weeks, something easier said than done.
Ian never counted on the wicked attraction that flares up between them.

After filling the tank, he checked on Sara one more time. She was still unconscious, her fever raging within her weakened body. Leaving the engine running to keep her comfortable, he stalked into the truck stop. It was nearly empty, except for the pimply-faced male teenager behind the counter.
Ian’s eyes settled on him, his expression grim. He bypassed everything, coming to a stop in front of the nervous young male. “I want all of your medicines to relieve fever, including liquids and capsules. Plus, I want a thermometer, the best one you have, and make sure it’s not rectal.” He narrowed his eyes at the wide-eyed clerk in front of him. “I don’t do rectal, and I won’t use anything that involves an ass.”
The clerk looked nervous. “Um, that’s good to know.”
Ian looked around, checking out the inventory. “I want two cartons of every kind of pop you have, and five cases of bottled water.” He grabbed his expensive leather wallet out of his back pocket, carefully counting out five, one-hundred dollar bills. Dropping them on the counter, he growled out, “Load up my order, and you get to keep the change.”
The clerk grinned happily, grabbing the money. “Shit, yeah. Anything you say.” He rang everything up while Ian waited. “Which ride is yours?”
Ian shot him a droll look, before replying, “The only one out there.”
“Okay,” he agreed cheerfully, pocketing his portion. “Pull your vehicle to the door. I’ll get you all fixed up.”
