You ever read a book and almost every page has you cracking up? Well that is this book!

Ragonnard,  a young sorcerer who want nothing more than to have this one magical tool (an amulet that is worn by Syranax) so much he makes some wrong decisions. Everything in Ragonnard’s house is animated and does not hold back. Can you imagine that? They tell Ragonnard exactly what they think. To get what he wants he recruits Ganfrey, a thief Ragonnard catches as she breaks into his home. Ragonnard does not know what to do with her so he tells her if she does not want to be turned over to the law, or thrown into the spirit cellar and stay there until she becomes one she will help him steal the painting  Syranax is trapped in. But things don’t go as planned and instead of freeing just the amulet,Ragonnard also frees Syranax too. Syranax is the most powerful sorcerer of his time and traps Ragonnard in the painting. Syranax wants revenge on the ones who trapped him in the painting 500 years ago. He uses his magic to take over the castle and puts the king out on the street.

To make things right Ragonnard, Ganfrey, and with the help from a time traveling agent from the future, a court illusionist, Dewdop, and the head of castle security(who loves to read mysteries and tries to put them use in his own life) must find a way to stop him..  The question is will they succeed? This is a well written and entertaining book. I was laughing so hard I cried.  From beginning to end this humorous and captivating story leads you on a whimsical adventure. It is a fast paced story with lots of action that I would recommend to anyone.
