Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Elizabeth spent most of her younger years as an avid reader with a wild imagination which led her to write her first manuscript at the age of fourteen.
But, life got in the way. Elizabeth completed a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice at Northeastern Illinois University and works in the community strengthening families.
But her love of stories held, and in 2008 she found herself back into her storytelling roots and began writing again. In 2012, Elizabeth signed with Sapphire Star Publishing to release her debut novel, THE SECOND SIGN.
Elizabeth still resides in Chicago’s south west side with her family, a household of kids, and the bliss of chaos. The good kind. She continues to work in the community.

Man what an amazing book! Angel and Demons have always been a favorite of mine so I was so looking forward to this book! It did not disappoint! My heart broke for Gabby having to live in Max’s shadow like she does. Learning her story brought tears to my eyes. Then she meets Jake and I finally think she’s been given something good and then it all falls apart!
I don’t understand Angels sometimes they are so unforgiving even when a rule is broken for the right reason! It’s a touchy subject can you tell?
Now on to
the story. Gabby is a teenager well not
like every other teenager she the daughter of an angel and her brother is an
angel. I thought she was one too but she has a lot of anger and there is
something different about her. She just wants normal! She can’t have that
though. I think she would settle for
just a little bit of happiness and when she meets Jake she thinks she might
have found that! Things are going good for about a minute then tragedy happens
all around her. People die and lie to her more than I can even keep track of.
You know I won’t tell you what happens but picture this.
Girl meets
boy they fall in love then find out they are each on one side of good and evil!

Man this book really put me through the ringer emotionally! I have come to adore all of the characters even Pat and I find myself surprised but that! Gabby and Jake continue there journey from where The Second Skin left off. Jake hates Gabby for not saving his sister and Gabby doesn't know that she has started something much bigger by making that choice! Max continues to surprise me in this book right up until the end! I'm DYING to tell you all what happened but, I won't ruin it for you!
This Author has a way of dragging you in so deep I felt my heart breaking in this book! I cried more than once when reading this book! So much heart ache so much betrayal! It's crazy! I would love to know this wasn't the last book but this author brought the story full circle so I'm wondering what could be next!
