About Rebecca Ethington
Rebecca Ethington has been telling stories since she was small. First, with writing crude scripts, and then in stage with years of theatrical performances. The Imdalind Series is her first stint into the world of literary writing. Rebecca is a mother to two, and wife to her best friend of 14 years. Joclyn is a beautiful person who has let a mark control her life. She believes it's why her father left. She has hidden it and her self for all of her life. The only person who knows her, really knows her is Ryland. He may not have seen her mark but, he hold her heart in his hands.
He's acting different to her too and she can't even imagine that he loves her!
When he sees her mark the look I imagine that is on his face is pure heartbreak NOT because he doesn't love her but because hes afraid he's going to loss her.
His father is evil and does horrible things!
When Ryland tells her to run, that he will find her and not to look back. She does it but, only because she knows she will see him again.
She must get to Ilyan, that's what Ryland tells her. When she gets home the scene she finds is something no person should EVER have to see.
Ilyan is not what he seems. He's a Skitek, which means he has magic and he tells Jocelyn she's a chosen child. That he mark is actually a Kiss that enhanced her latent magical powers. She doesn't understand any of this all she knows is she must get Ryland. He's her heart and she can not be with out him.
Reading about the love and devotion these two have for each other was JUST BEAUTIFUL!
