Excerpt
“Dance with me,” he said. I took his hand and started
engaging in a slow romantic dance. He
softly started gliding his hands up and down my back as we danced. I ran my
fingers through his hair, and I could feel me clutching tighter and tighter to
him. He took one of his hands from my
back and gently moved my hair from the front to the back. He passionately kissed my neck and worked his
way to my mouth. His kiss was deep, but
soft at the same time. It had a force behind it, almost like he’d been keeping
it in for months. I returned the kiss in
the same vigorous way. We were both like
magnets pulling toward each other, we could not break free.

Favorite Quotes:
His wavy light brown
hair with light blonde highlights was just the right length, and I
unexplainably wanted to run my fingers through it. Snap out of it! Say hello dummy. “Call me Lylah, hi nice to meet you too,” I
said stretching out my hand to meet his, frozen in place, mesmerized with his
beautiful blue eyes. I felt I could see straight through to his soul. His face
was so strong and at the same time so tender, I felt lost in his
expression. Holding my gaze and my
hand longer than the usual greetings last, he let go, and he moved slightly
back, letting me go pass him to the sofa.
“It’s ok,” he said soothing the mood. “In all fairness this
was short notice for Lylah, maybe next time, right?” He winked at me as if letting me know he was
on my side.
“I may not see you again after tonight for admitting this to
you, but tonight when you were getting ready to leave, I feared if I let you
walk out of that door that I would never see you again.”
I was given this book for an honest review.
Here you have William and Lylah who really are in love with
each other and are not afraid to show it.
Throughout the book Lylah gets glimpses of her life from the past with
William both good and bad. I thought I had this book figured out but guess
what, I was wrong. I should have known
by now that books never go the way you think.
And this book was no different. I
cannot tell you what happen because it would ruin the surprise. So I guess you
will just have to read it to find out how it ends.
William and Lylah are great characters and but I think that
she could of developed the other characters and their interaction with William
and Lylah. This is a book that starts
off slow but it develops and becomes a great story and you learn so much about
the main characters both their past and present relationships.
