I continue towards the door but pause to look over my shoulder one last time. “Thanks. For watching my back.”He looks amused. “You’re very welcome. For watching over all of you."

“Okay,” I say. “What do you want to watch?”“One of my favorites. You’ve probably already seen it, but I find it to be the kind of movie that always serves as a good escape.”I have to laugh out loud when I see what he’s talking about.It’s Angels and Demons.

This is the first book in the series and I was given it for an honest review.

This was a book that I really enjoyed.  I am not a true reader of YA genre but this book no take that back this series is a great series and I would highly recommend it to my friends and other readers. It draws you in from the beginning.

You have Hope who can see the darkest secrets of people and things start to happen to her.  In her life comes Micah, a demon who endures a transformation to a “good” demon.  Hope is by his side when this happens. They both with the help of guardians fight evil to keep it for spreading throughout their city. Then you have Jonathan who is a guardian who has decided that he wants Hope too.  Who will win Hope over?  Will the good in Micah win or the evil in him?  Only time will tell. This is a great start to the series.

“See any yet?” I whisper to Hope. She’s doing that thing where she looks right through people and into their souls.  She shakes her head and pokes my arm. “Nope. Just you.”

“Thanks.” Hope lands next to me. She straightens and holds out her arms for Brianna, and I hand her over. “I’ll meet you at the car.”  I’d driven the Range Rover tonight, just in case we had to do a rescue like this. I stick my car keys in her pocket. “You’re so sexy, you know that?”

This book was also given in to me in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the series and in as good as the first one.  In this book you learn more about Hope, Micah and Jonathan. They all are pulled deeper into the world of the guardians and something isn’t right, something is watching them and knows every move they are making.  I wonder who or what it could be?  Hmmm I guess you are just going to have to read it to find out.  This is a great story just like the first in the series.  Can’t wait for the next.

Originally from upstate New York, Helen Boswell spent several years of her early adult life tromping around in the city of Buffalo with frequent trips to Toronto, Canada. These two cities in particular serve as inspirational settings for her urban fantasies, and while Helen has since moved to live in the southwestern United States, she will have fond memories of urban life and high-heeled sneakers for all eternity.

Helen earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo and dedicates her time to teaching biology and other fun things to college students, spending time with her wonderful family, and eating chocolate while writing.

The YA urban fantasy MYTHOLOGY is her first novel and the first one in the Mythology Series.
