“Anna? Baby, is it really you?” It is Joe’s voice I hear, but it can’t be. He is gone. I must be dreaming. I have to be. I remember going to sleep in my bed that is now located in the palace of the sacred lands of the Nephilim.
Anxiety grips me as he comes closer. I turn and run straight into the woods, using all the speed I have within me. I run for miles without even breaking a sweat. Being a fully transitioned Nephilim warrior has its advantages. Nothing can catch me at this speed. However, he can. Not possible, is the only thought registering in my mind at this moment.
“Anna, please don’t be afraid of me.” There he is, no more than five feet away from me. My living and breathing, yet deceased husband, Joe. Stunned, I reach down for one of my daggers that I keep strapped between my thighs. They aren’t there. I am in shock, I never go anywhere without them. Not only are my daggers missing, but I am barefoot, and still dressed in my silk nightie. This is a dream! This realization causes me to relax a little.

“Good, now let’s go. We have things to do.”
“We are going to need about fifteen minutes.” He presses himself against me as he hauls me into the closet. “Ever done it in a closet?”
“No, this will be my first time.” I giggle, thrilled to see this playful side of him.
True to his word, we both leave the closet sated and happy, ready to take on the task at hand. Eli gives me one last kiss before leaving the conference room. “You know I can be faster this time.”
“Faster is not necessarily better, baby.”




This book was given to me for an honest review. 

If you like hot guys would are controlling then this is the book for you. No, make that is is the series for you.

This is a series that you want to read all the books in this one you have two brothers who believe they are Anna's mate.  But she is the one that has to. Chose while both men fight to win her she must also fight to stay alive and not be turned into a vampire by he ex-brother-in-law Dan who is now a rogue vampire determined to turn Anna and make her his.  During all this you have Elise a strong, smart, witty sorceress.  She is there to protect Anna but she has also become her BFF.  The of course you have Anna's warrior protector, Torch, who is hot, sexy, hot, hard, now not that kind of hard. I mean he is very focused and always ready for battle. 

When it all comes down to it will Anna survive and if she does since she is Queen how will she be able to chose between brothers, which one will be her mate? Will it be Eli or will it be  Nyoka? Or will she become a vampire like Dan?  You will have to read it to find out. I really enjoyed how the story flowed and left you wanting more.

Eli stood, picking up the boy and tossing him across his shoulder. “You sure did. I was about to yell for your Aunt Anna to come and save me.” He tickled the boy’s ribs as he winked at Anna.”


“Hey, guys.” Elise smiled broadly at us while carrying a wooden tray that held a full pitcher and three glasses. “The atmosphere seemed a little gloomy, but never fear, I have the cure! Margaritas will fix anything.”

This is the third in the Nephilim Warrior Series.  I wold have to say so far this is my favorite one. This is the hot sexy Torch's story.  Torch has seen his share of pain.  He is a warrior threw and threw.  He will do whatever it takes to protect what is his.  But like most men he does say stupid things that hurt the one you love. 

Then u have Julie she is Anna's sister and just finds out her life was not what is seem to be.  She is half vampire half human and is a mother of twins. She is also Torch's mate who doesn't feel he is worthy. 

And now you have Drako a vampire king who wants Julie and her children for himself.  He will stop at nothing to get her and then you have the wolves that are after her so they can kill her. In amongst all this you have Torch thinking he is doing the right thing and makes Julie angry and she runs off.  Will Torch. be able there in time to save her? Or will he be to late?  What other secrets is Torch hiding?  Will Torch and Julie be able to overcome there fears and work together to defend what is rightfully theirs?  You definitely have to read this book to find out. It was a well written fast paced story with humor, Witt, fear, sex, hot warriors, hot vampires, and more hot sex.  There is even some magic thrown in.
