When did you know you wanted to be a writer?
My first ever WIP was actually just a fill in while I awaited for the third book in the young adult paranormal series, Darkest Powers Trilogy, by Kelley Armstrong. An idea came to me and I thought it could be something fun to do in the meantime. Well the farther I got into the project and the more ideas I got for it, something just clicked for me. A passion flowed through me and I just knew I wanted to make this more than it originally was supposed to be. I knew I wanted to be a writer and share these characters stories.

Describe your books in 3 words?
Edgy, bloody, & chilling

Do you have a process?
I used to. If I got an idea, like most people I would write it down. And then I would go into writing down the details of characters, of the area the characters would visit, their homes, things like that. But know I’m trying a new process. The process of not thinking. Instead I’m just writing, seeing where things go, letting the scenes take me from place to place and I’m finding out it’s so much easier to write this way. This process has shown me that I do have passion for this and it doesn’t always have to feel like work. Because of this new way of thinking I’ve written a good chunk of my current WIP in a matter of months, way quicker than it took to write my first novel (though I’ll be rewriting that piece, someday).

Who or What is your inspiration?
I actually just discovered I have a muse and that would have to be my boyfriend. He brings me to life and for the first time in my life I actually feel like I’m truly alive. He brings a smile to my face that no one else can bring and he’s showing me what’s it like to have a boyfriend, to have a relationship. Yes, he’s my first boyfriend and we met when I was 19. So the romance in my books feel so much more real now haha.

What will you be working on next?
I’m actually working on three things right now. The prequel and sequel to this series, I’m working on a new adult paranormal/sci-fi novel, and a new adult paranormal erotic. Yeah, that one I didn’t see coming haha. I’m hoping to have the erotic one published sometime this year.

What's your favorite genre to write?
Paranormal and horror, can I have both? They both come easy tome, my brain just leads down that road……I don’t know if that says anything good about me haha? I’m drawn to both of these worlds , in my writing and in my reading. There’s just something about them.

Person you would like to meet most in this world?
Oh boy, I honestly don’t know. Most people I would like to meet have passed or to meet my author friends I have met online over the past year, in person.

What is one thing that would surprise us to know about you?
This is a hard one, I think maybe that I want a few small tattoos and in the most sensitive places hahaOn the back of my neck on the left side, one on my hip, and one on my right ankle.

If you could be any character from one of your books who would it be?
That’s a tough one because most of my main females have something of me in them already. But I would like certain traits from them. Like Ashley, she’s got extreme strength to go up against a couple of human harvesters, sometimes I don’t see myself as a strong person. Then there’s my female lead in my WIP new adult novel, she’s got a stable job and I would love that haha.

What is your greatest fear about being an author/publishing your book(s)?
That my novels won’t get any notice. I think that’s every authors fear, is when we put sweat and blood in our babies and then have no one buying them.

Would the 10 year-old version of yourself kick your butt or praise you for what you've accomplished in life?
She may kick my butt only because when I was a kid I wasn’t a big fan of reading haha. But other than that I think she’d be pretty damn proud of me for putting myself out there, doing the thing I love, and for following my dreams. Even if the dreams were never hers at the time haha.

If you could meet any author, dead or alive, who would you choose?
I would love to meet a lot but I think the one I would like to meet the most would have to be Kelley Armstrong ,to thank her for inspiring me in the first place.

What is your favorite type of fairy and why?
Nature, I love the woods and you can tell from pretty much all of my stories. You’ll always see some of my characters living near them.
