Released On: March 14, 2013

Book Summary:

Stumbling off the bus in Midtown, Harley Martin thought she found an escape from her old life.

She soon realizes it was anything but that.

Low on cash and options, she manages to find herself a cheap but surprisingly nice apartment. The catch? The last tenant, Brody Walsh, killed himself.

Or did he?

As disturbing dreams and hauntings start to occur, Harley realizes there may be much more behind the previous tenant’s death than a simple suicide. She finds her life further entangled with his when she learns that her new boss, Nolan, was also his best friend. Could this handsome but evasive pub owner have something to do with Brody’s death?

Trying to piece together the events surrounding Brody’s death proves to be a daunting task, but Harley can’t give up. Brody won’t let her. He is still in the apartment with her, trapped in limbo until she finds his killer.

But he’s not waiting for revenge.

Harley’s next.

Wow! That was my reaction when I finished the book. It’s simply awesome. The writing style is great and I really enjoyed it a lot. Here we got only Harley’s POV who is the main lead and we got to share her experiences and the journey that she made through rough paths filled with dangers. I loved the detailed descriptions that the author provided here and the actions scenes are swoon worthy, don’t mind my language because I love action. Coming to the main interest of this book is the haunted flat!!! Yeah, you heard me right! Harley shifts to flat no. 333 (spooky number) after she escapes from the clutches of her evil fiancĂ© (well when I say evil, I mean it literally but I won’t give up any more spoilers because he is one of the main character who will give this story a shocking turn) and guess what that flat is haunted by its previous owner Brody Walsh who attempted suicide in the flat’s bathroom (but the truth is something else and you’re going to get knocked down by the revelation). I felt that the haunting scenes were a bit sketchy and there are just very few of them and I wanted much more but that’s okay.
The characterization is great and I loved Nolan’s character. His mood swings made him suspicious and for the most part of the story I thought that he is the villain but …. Well, I won’t tell you!!! Angus is snarky and humorous and Aggie is also cool and nonchalant but there are some secrets about her personality that are going to come up later in the story.
Overall I loved this book because it has mystery, action, romance, secrets, ghosts, haunting and the best part is the last scene and just when I thought that the story is over, the author stunned me with the last punch, it was really heart-stopping. A must read for ya all!

Released On: March 17, 2013

Book Summary:

Brody Walsh’s life is left in disarray when his girlfriend is found brutally raped and murdered. But it completely shatters when his best friend, Nolan is arrested for the crime.

Even as the media is portraying him as a monster, Brody knows Nolan isn’t capable of murder.

That leaves the question: Who is?

Once the trial begins, Brody discovers just how little he knew about his girlfriend, spurring him to dig into her past for possible answers. And as Aggie, his long time confidant and childhood crush, stands by his side through all of this, he finds his own past resurfacing when his feelings for her reignite. But as the media and the prosecutors close in on Nolan, ready to convict him for a crime he didn’t commit, Brody will be forced to make a choice.

A choice that will lead to his untimely death.

This book is the story of Brody Walsh and the tragic and horrific sufferings that he went through. Well I’m not saying anymore about the story because then I would have to give spoilers about book 1.
The writing style is great and this read is the most engaging than all the other instalments. From the very first page we get the POV of Brody Walsh which increased my interest to a very high level, after all we are getting the POV of the ghost!!! The shocking revelations that this book has really stunned me and the unpredictable twists made this read intriguing for me. Moreover the fast-pace and vivid descriptions of the surroundings was great to enjoy as well. Over all a must read for all the lovers of Possess and the others as well. Enjoy!!!

Possess My Heart ( The Possess Saga #3)
( click on the cover to add the book on Goodreads)

Author: J.A. Howell
Publisher: SideStreet Cookie Publishing
Released On: July 25, 2013

Book Summary:

"You can't leave me because I'll only ever love you."

What was supposed to be a final goodbye turned into one last piece of unfinished business for Brody Walsh.

As long as Aggie Walker's heart still belongs to him, he's destined to remain in limbo, watching over her.
But when her family decides to send her to Scotland for the summer and she meets Camden MacTavish, it seems despite their constant head-butting that there may be something more between them.

That is, if she is willing to let Camden in.

As Aggie finds herself torn between her lover lost and her lover anew, it becomes clear that she cannot hold on to both. If she decides to let Camden into her heart, she will have to let Brody go. And if she can't let Brody go, she risks losing Camden-and a second chance at love.
Forever.

Here we got Aggie POV and I really enjoyed being in her head. She goes to Scotland to get away from the horrible experience she had in Brody’s case but instead she gets haunted by Brody once again and we also get the taste of sexy Scotsman Camden who is a jerk with a heart, yeah I know that’s contradictory but he just tries to show that he is rough and tough on outside but from inside he is as emotionally  hurt as Aggie due to some family tragedies but his love for Aggie gives us a glimpse of his emotional and vulnerable side which really touched my heart.
Once again I would like to praise the author’s writing style which is comfortable yet enriched and really connected me to the story and the characters. We also meet Aggie’s cousins, Grant and Bea. I loved Grant, his snarky comments and the heartfelt attempts to made Aggie happy made me want him as my bro as well. Bea is just irritating as hell and sometimes I just wanted to smack her but later we get to know the real reason behind her rude behaviour.
The slow development of romantic feelings between Camden and Aggie made this read an interesting one and the suspense that whether she would listen to her heart or her guilt feeling will make her refuse Camden’s love kept me hooked in but I felt that the action element is quite non-existent in this instalment.
There is one complaint from my side. This book is just filled with sexual scenes and for most of the read nothing interesting happens aside from the romantic and sexual tension between Aggie and Camden which bored me a little and dimmed my excitement but the last few chapters were real excitement!!!

They say love conquers all. But as Nolan and Harley struggle with their own secrets, will their love be enough to keep them together?

Or will the things that haunt them finally tear them apart?

Superb! Superb! Superb! So far this is the best book of this series. The mystery that you will get in this part is awesome and I ate down all my nails just because of the suspense. There is an awesome surprise in this sequel but I’m telling you that because I know that this fact is definitely going to make you try this one out – so the surprising fact is that our own Harley is part Fae!!! Can you believe it? Oh, we also meet Harley’s Father and he is no ordinary man, why not? Well, you’ll get to know that when you’ll read the book!
Here we got to enjoy a lot of action and another surprise for you guys, guess what? Harley is pregnant and she is going to have a daughter and we will also get to enjoy Nolan and Harley’s marriage. Yipeee!!! Nolan’s mom is pain in the ass, literally but she is just cautious about her son but her rude behaviour towards Harley made me hate her but at last she made me cry with an awesome surprise that she gave Harley. In this part we again got to see Grant and as usual his jokes and flirty habit followed him from Scotland to Mid-Town.
The mystery of the serial killer who is wreaking havoc in Mid-Town kept me hooked to the story and the drama that we get to enjoy here is fabulous. A very engaging read and I would definitely recommend it to ya all, enjoy!!!
