Her good humor fled. “That’s it. I’m done. Here’s the program you’d better get with. He can stay in my guest room—there are two. I’l l give him the one down the hall from my bedroom. I’d hate to live in your house so I would never subject anyone else to that. While he is here, I can talk to him if I want. Hell, I can hang out with him. I can do anything I want with him and you can’t do a thing about it.”  “What would you like to do with me?” The voice behind her was a deep rumble.

“We figured after eight or nine little baby Brawn sons that you would be too tired to even think about wanting to leave. Was that a good number of children to make you too exhausted to ever leave him?” Breeze grinned at her.  Becca suddenly laughed as her gaze fixed on Brawn. The confused look on his face made her laugh harder. She gripped her stomach and enjoyed the humor.  “Becca?” Brawn was concerned as he touched her arm.  She got control and wiped at her eyes. “You wanted me to birth your own little army of mini Brawns to keep me with you, huh?”

This is the 5^th book in the New Species series,  Becca was Tim’s daughter and she would do anything to protect her especially because to him she was still his baby girl and had been married and in a very bad relationship.  Brawn was a really really hot and big sexy New Species and was also on the council for the New Species and now was going to be a member of the task force.  Becca lived in the cottage that she owned behind her father’s house and it was also going to be where Brawn would live during his time on the task force. The only problem was that both Becca and Brawn found themselves attracted to each other but didn’t want to admit it.  Then both Becca and Brawn were kidnapped by Mercile Industry and placed in a cage together so all good intentions by either one went out the window so to speak.  I would have loved to be cage up with Brawn.. Oh the things I bet he could do…. HMMMM sorry off track here.  While cage Becca and Brawn we made to endure many things. Brawn’s worse nightmare being a subject of Mercile Industy breeding experiments, to protect him Becca does as they want and to survive they must rely on each other and truly form a bond. When they are found Tim does everything he can to keep them apart even lying to Becca and the New Species.  What neither the New Species, Brawn, Becca nor even her dad expected to happen did. 

OMG!!! How could you not love the irony that Tim’s daughter who is a kick ass girl falls for Brawn, there one true friend among the humans! It’s sexy, hilarious and just awesome.
