Firehouse 5, Book 3
When Claudia receives a phone call in the dead of night
informing her that her pub has burned to the ground, shock steals her senses.
But when the hunky arson investigator and his sidekick show up to question her,
her body awakens in brand-new ways. She can’t stop picturing herself crushed
between the beefy Swede and the tattooed god.
Jonatan and Mac suspect a common case of insurance
fraud—until they meet the beautiful and innocent-eyed pub owner. After one
meeting, Jonatan can’t keep his hands off her, but neither can Mac. Trouble is,
they need all their wits for the investigation.
Two alpha males thumping their chests and declaring Claudia
belongs to each of them individually will get them nowhere, but Claudia may
have a solution that makes all of them happy.
Inside Scoop: Jonatan and Mac are sure to become
more than partners on the job with temptress Claudia demanding both of them at
the same time!

“Apartment 5C,” Jonatan Amdahl said over his shoulder as he
navigated the fourth flight of stairs leading up to Claudia Harper’s apartment.
Behind him, fellow arson investigator Mac King flipped open
a notebook and scrawled in a tight hand. “I hate that I’m going into this job
blind. I should have received the notes before I got into the car with you to
come over here.”
Jonatan quirked a smile, which he hid from his partner by
facing forward again. He mounted another five steps and crossed the landing in
one long stride. It was good to keep the beginning investigator a little
off-balance. He needed to find out some of the information on his own. That’s
what good investigators did—Jonatan had been taught this way by an old-school
officer back in Stockholm.
Mac’s heavy boot steps thudded on the metal stairs behind
Jonatan. “I don’t know why you think this is funny.”
The statement amused Jonatan even more, and he narrowly kept
himself from laughing out loud. Mac was as impatient as they came. Learning
patience was the one skill that would make him the best arson investigator in the
city—maybe even the state. Especially when Mac was gung-ho to steep himself in
each new case and answer all the questions within hours of looking at the
material.
“Sometimes you need to stare at everything for a long time,
friend. Take it all in, let it swirl in your head like a fine wine.”
“Nothing fine about insurance fraud.” He gave a hard sniff.
As if sensing this, Mac pivoted to look at her. “Sweetness,
I can smell your arousal.”
Belly dropping, she released a gasp.
“Me too,” Jonatan practically growled. His fists tightened
on the steering wheel, the knuckles white in the dimness.
“Maybe she needs to touch herself?” Mac’s statement turned
into a question at the end and he looked to his partner.
“Fuck yeah. Claudia.” Jonatan’s gaze fixed on her in the
rearview mirror. “Pull that sexy little skirt up your hips, baby.”
With jerky movements she obeyed. The snug fabric of her
interview suit was tricky to tug up, especially in the car, but soon the cloth
was bunched around her hips.
Glancing up, she found Mac’s gaze locked on her pussy.
“Jesus, Jonatan, you should see the panties she’s wearing.”
Jonatan groaned in response and a muscle in the corner of
his jaw flickered. “Let me feel.” He reached between the seats and she slid
forward to meet him, bringing her pussy flat against his questing fingers.
As he probed the scrap of lace barely covering her mound,
her breath came faster. Small, squeaking cries left her when he pushed the
cloth into her pussy.
“And you don’t think we can talk when we’re…” She raised a
brow at Mac.
He gave a harsh nod, his gaze locked fiercely on her mouth.
“If we get you within reach of a bed, a couch or, hell, a wall, we’re going to
take you, Claudia.”
This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
This is a story about a bar owner named Claudia. She receives a call from an officer telling
her that her bar has been burned down.
After going to the bar and spending most of the night there she finally
gets home to sleep when a knock at her door happens.
Claudia opens the door to two very hot arson investigators
are standing on the other side. Jonatan and Mac are there to ask her some
questions but what they find is something more.
They want this beautiful sexy woman but the first thing they have to do
is find out who destroyed her bar. The
other problem is they both want her and at first they don’t want to share. So
both men have to work through the feeling they have and it is not only the
feelings they have for Claudia it’s the feelings they find themselves having
for each other. Will they be able to prove
her innocence? Or will the new evidence prove her guilty? Will this new evidence they have destroy what
the three have found with each other?
I really like this book it is action packed, emotional and
very hot, oh my is it hot and in more way then one. The story flows and keeps you wanting to know
what is going to happen next. There were times I wanted to slap both Mac and
Jonatan for the way they behaved. I
believed Claudia was too easy but then again I would have been the same way
with those two hot alpha males.
