DESCRIPTION
Good Guys Wear Black, Book 1
SWAT officer Cole Westling walks a fine line of control. If his wife knew exactly what he wanted to do to her, he’d lose the most precious thing in his life. Instead, he throws himself into work.
Tanya Westling did not leave her job as a globe-trotting humanitarian to spend her nights playing roller derby and sleeping alone. Armed with a few adult toys and a prayer, she challenges him to a sensual game that will strip away their ideas of what sex should be.
Cole’s surprised but it’s his dream come true. With each sexual encounter, the walls between them come crumbling down and each must face the truth of what their marriage has been and what it could be.
Inside Scoop: Contains an alpha hero who wants sex at all hours and a heroine who knows what she wants, just not the words to get it. Also depicts criminal activity, the strong arm of the law and a self-rescuing heroine.
A Romantica® contemporary erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

It can never be said that Sidney Bristol has had a ‘normal’ life.  She is a recovering roller derby queen, former missionary, and tattoo addict. She grew up in a motor-home on the US highways (with an occasional jaunt into Canada and Mexico), traveling the rodeo circuit with her parents. Sidney has lived abroad in both Russia and Thailand, working with children and teenagers. She now lives in Texas where she splits her time between a job she loves, writing, reading and belly dancing.

Favorite Quotes:
“You want to take me lingerie shopping?” Tanya’s hope tanked. Cole couldn’t care less what she was wearing. A drawer full of pretty, frilly things she never wore was testament to that failed trial.
“Not just lingerie, doofus. Come on.” Mallory pulled the door open and stepped over the threshold.

“What?” he asked.
“Sex, Cole. People have to have sex in order to make babies.”
“Well, not technically. This is the twenty-first century. People get shot up with sperm all the time now.”
“Oh my god, just forget it.” She threw the towel on the counter and began to storm off, but he caught her wrist and swung her around. The way her eyes flashed shouldn’t make him hard, but it did.
“Hey now, it’s just a joke.”
“Variety is the spice of life. Sometimes it pays to change up the roles,” she whispered under her breath.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
What would you do if you have been married for years and just feel into a routine where you don’t communicate and sex is none existence?  Well that is what this story is about Tanya and Cole has been married for a long time and they haven’t communicated or had sex in a while.  Cole feels he doesn’t deserve her so he works as a SWAT officer as many hours as he can. Tanya decided she was going to do something to get their whole life back on track. She goes to a sex shop and buys toys and boy does that get Cole interested. But will this solve their problems?  Or will Cole’s fears destroy what is left of their marriage? Or will a terrorists group do that for them?

At first the book looked very interesting but was slow to get started. But once it got started toward the end it was good.  Tanya was all women and a bad ass roller derby skater and what she wants is her husband back and man does she try. For a SWAT office Cole is such a wimp when it comes to his marriage. I know there will be more stories and I will read them but wish this was had started off the way it ended.  There was plenty of hot sex.
