I've always been an avid reader and writing just sort of followed. When I didn't like the way a book ended, I'd let my imagination run wild and paint a different ending in my head. New characters grew and I tried to get their stories on paper. I started with horror and straight sci-fi in my teens and eventually found romance.

I love to tell about the worlds and characters that sometimes seem so real to me. I write fantasy, futuristic, sci-fi, and paranormal romance, but if a character fascinates me, I'll give anything a try.

“Then they need to learn a little patience.” Alana laughed as she walked away from him. That little phrase made her want to take as much time as possible.

“What’s put the frown on your face?” He traced his finger over the downward curve of her lips.

“You know I do bite.” Alana raised an eyebrow and her lips curved upward a little.

Alana is a shapeshifter who when she first touched the twin wizards she was dancing with she knew they were her mates and she was their familiar. The problem was that after their first night together she saw one of them in a restaurant with a female on his lap and received a note that they didn’t want to be with her so she left.

Kane and Michael were twins and the first time the saw Alana they knew she was their familiar. One night with her was not enough. Then she just left without saying why or goodbye. They decided to wait her out and knew and hoped she would come back.

When Alana returned home she has already decided that everything she saw and read that day she left was not what she thought. Someone was trying to destroy their chances of being together. She came back knowing that she would claim her mates but first she had to concentrate on finding the humans, witches and shifters who were being kidnapped and the person who did it.  What she didn’t know was that others were going to force her, Kane and Michael to be together. One way they did this was to cast a spell so she could not leave town.  It did not make her happy.  She felt her leaving or not leaving was not important at the moment, what was important was finding the kidnappers and the ones that were kidnapped. Will she be able to find them in time? Or will the distraction of the two men she loved get them all killed?

This was a great story that combined a group of people. Alana is a strong woman and she needs to be with two hot sexy twins that are wizards. I wouldn't mind being stuck with them. The story flows from the minute you start reading it. When reading you feel like you are part of the story. There was anger, love, hot sexy men, jealousy, and hatred. I would not have mind biting these two wizards myself.
