Guest Reviewer Dark Skye

Home - To Hell and Back Again

I have read each of Kresley Cole's Immortals novels.  I loved them from the start but when Lothaire came along I could not wait for the next.  But one never knows where an author will take you.  MacKreve was a surprise also.  But Dark Skye, has to be my second best only to Lothaire.  Thronos found his mate when only a child.  Thus making it impossible for him to love anyone (and I mean love emotionally or physically) other than her.  His mate Lanthe, however did not have such a prohibition.  So over centuries Thonos had to watch is mate go from lover to lover.  Finally when he captures her to bring her back to his home and life and crap breaks loose.  I have not laughed so much since Lothaire and Elizabeth.  Dark Skye's has a message of love, hatred, tolerance, forgiveness but much important, the gift of true love.  Thronos and Lanthe literally go through hell to get to where they can love one another without judgement and they have fun while doing it.  LOL!!!
