Character Interview
Character Interview with Leigh Norris and Logan Walters
Welcome guys! Thank you for hanging out with us today and getting up close and personal about your relationship.
Leigh- “Thank you for having us. Logan is used to the spotlight, but I’m new at this.”
Logan laughs.-“Talking about my books and talking about relationships-not the same thing.”
Interviewer- “Okay, well I’ll start off with the easy questions. First one is for Leigh. What was going through your mind when you realized you’d knocked Logan off of the ladder, while he was trying to help you hang your daycare sign?”
Leigh-“That I hope he wouldn’t sue me.” She smiles at him. “Just kidding-I was really worried, because not only had I injured a guest at the B & B next door, he was a writer! Breaking his wrist had to be the worst thing that could have happened to him.
Logan smiles. “I wouldn’t say that. If I hadn’t broken my wrist, you would never have spent time with me.”
Leigh-“That is true.”
Interviewer-“So, it was the time you spent together working on Logan’s book that led you both to develop feelings for one another?”
Leigh-“My feelings kind of grew out of nowhere. I wasn’t looking for a relationship. In fact, the opposite was true. My life was complicated and I was desperate to push my feelings for Logan aside-turns out it was harder than I’d imagined.”
Interviewer-“How about you Logan?”
Logan-“Leigh was the worst typist I could ever have hoped for. It certainly wasn’t her ability to type that attracted me.” He moves away as she swipes at him. “It was the way she was with her daycare kids that first caught my attention-she was so wonderful with them. Having a daughter, I had to think of not only myself when asking someone to enter our family…but I knew Leigh was special.”
Interviewer-“And what about your daughters? How do they get along?”
Leigh-“Amelia is a fantastic big sister. Our family just works-we are very lucky.”
Interviewer-“And Logan, has Grandma Norris warmed up to you at all?”
Logan smiles-“Saving her life certainly helped. Yeah, we are really close now. Of course, he first priority will always be Leigh and her happiness, but she’s baking me lots of muffins, so I’m not complaining.”
Interviewer-“So, what’s next for you guys?”
Both smile. Leigh-“We’ve decided to co-…”
Logan-“Shhh. We haven’t signed the contract yet.”
Leigh-“She’s not going to tell anyone.”
Logan shakes his head. “This is why she doesn’t do interviews.”
Interviewer-“Okay, well you’ve certainly piqued our interest, but I guess we will have to wait to find out. Thank you so much guys for stopping by!”
Logan and Leigh-“Thank you for having us.”

  1. The dialogue in Jennifer Snow's books is always witty, intelligent and real. As a reader, I hate books that have pages of description that stall the next scene, but that doesn't happen in her books. The reader is always rewarded with a quick new scene that makes it difficult to put the book down!
