HADES - teaser

About HADES:

A fallen angel with a mean streak and a mohawk, Hades has spent thousands of years serving as Jailor of the Underworld. The souls he guards are as evil as they come, but few dare to cross him. All of that changes when a sexy fallen angel infiltrates his prison and unintentionally starts a riot. It’s easy enough to quell an uprising, but for the first time, Hades is torn between delivering justice — or bestowing mercy — on the beautiful female who could be his salvation…or his undoing.

Thanks to her unwitting participation in another angel’s plot to start Armageddon, Cataclysm was kicked out of Heaven and is now a fallen angel in service of Hades’s boss, Azagoth. All she wants is to redeem herself and get back where she belongs. But when she gets trapped in Hades’s prison domain with only the cocky but irresistible Hades to help her, Cat finds that where she belongs might be in the place she least expected…

Favorite Quotes:

Cat reconsidered that. Lilliana, who was still, technically, a fully-haloed angel, wouldn’t do anything quite so drastic. Most likely. But Cat still wouldn’t want to get on the female’s shit list. Anyone who pissed off Lilliana pissed off the Grim Reaper, and that...well, Cat could think of nothing worse.

Hades, Azagoth’s second-in-command and the designated Jailor of the Dead, was walking next to him. No, not walking. With the way his thigh muscles flexed in those form-fitting black pants with every silent step, it was more like prowling. His body sang with barely-leashed power, and she shivered in primal, feminine response.

Hades barked out a laugh, and she caught a glimpse of two pearly-white fangs. She used to think fangs were repulsive, but if Hades wanted to sink his canines into her, she’d gladly bare her throat and invite him in. She tapped her tongue against her own tiny fangs, the smaller versions that Unfallen grew a few days after being de-winged. For the most part, she’d gotten used to them. She didn’t even bite her lip anymore.
He leaned forward and brushed his lips across hers in a feathery, tender kiss. “All the more reason to do it. How does that old saying go? Better to seek forgiveness than ask permission from some asshole who’s going to tell you no?”

This story was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
Hades is a man you don’t want to mess with and Cat (Cataclysm) is a disaster waiting to happen.  Hades is the Jailor of the Underworld. He guards evil souls. The problem is there is one fallen angel that can make Hades fall to his knees just by her looks. But she can also cause him so many problems that could lead to his death.
Cat (Cataclysm) is a fallen angel who unfortunately got mixed up with another angel who wanted to start Armageddon and now she must earn her wings back. But like her name she is a disaster waiting to happen. Right now she has unintentionally caused a riot that could cost Hades his and her life. She also wants Hades like no other. The question is will she have him all to herself? Or will she end up getting them both killed? Will she have just cost herself the chance of ever getting her wings back and being able to return to heaven?

Larissa Ione has done it again!!!  This is a book with hot sexy mohawk man who you love to hate and a woman you have to laugh at because of the disasters she causes. Throughout the book there are twists and turns as well as times you question what is Hades up to or what disaster is Cat going to cause next.  The story has hot sexy cocky men that even though they are evil they have a loving and soft sensitive side to them. Between the bad porn and the movie titles you can laugh right with them but there is also anger, fear, murder and mayhem that makes this book worth reading. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.  My only complaint is I wish it had been longer.

FIVE FALLEN ANGELS
