About the Author:
I’ve always lived a life based on my imagination, from hopeless dreams of romance to concocting alternate realities involving supernaturals. I’m completely fascinated with anything hero-related, and often speculate which superpower I’d possess. I haven’t settled on one yet.

I was born in England, and currently reside in Wales, UK. I love to write, and most days you’ll find me happily tapping away at the computer whilst in my pyjama-clad bubble. I also spend my time reading, and if that isn’t enough I’m often in the kitchen baking up a treat.

“Can I help you?” he asked, his voice alluringly low.
I felt the quickening of my pulse as my heartbeat raised, uncontrollably affected by the sudden rush of chemicals flooding my system. Was my body attracted to him?
I smoothed my hand over my hair, regaining my control, and implemented my usual professionalism. Now wasn’t the time for googly eyes and laughter.
“Just a good evening for a run,” I said, folding my arms over my chest.
His gaze zeroed in on my movements, watching the rise and fall of my steady breath. I cleared my throat, trying to deter his stare.
“That’s not what I mean, princess.”
I bristled at the term, he had no idea who he was dealing with. I snarled. “Don’t call me . . .”
“Princess? I think it suits you. Now answer my question. Why are you following me?”
I was about to argue some more when his question niggled my conscience. “What makes you think I’m following you?” I asked.
“You mean besides the fact you’ve been watching me all week?” He smirked again, clearly satisfied with himself. “Has my routine bored you enough yet?” He openly laughed.
“You did that on purpose?” I gasped, frustrated more than ever that I’d been played at my own game.
“The next time you scope out my house, try masking your scent before you leave.” He turned to walk away, but I instinctively reached to stop him, grabbing his arm. Electricity ran through me at the touch of his skin, his bicep flexed beneath me, imposing its generous size under my hand.
“Oh, so there is something you want, princess.”
wondered if she was talking about something else when she opened the door. The faint sound of a click caught my attention, and I threw myself at Kira, shielding her body as we landed on the floor in a thud.
A shooting hiss sounded, and smoke began to fill up the room. I pulled up my jacket, covering her face below mine.
Despite the danger a surge of longing rushed through me, begging me to lean down and caress her lips with mine. I wanted to wipe away the sudden fear in her gorgeous brown eyes. She was mine to protect, no matter what the consequence.
The smoke cleared out, and I was reluctant to let her go. This was my happy place; her body beneath mine wrapped in my arms.
“Thank you,” she whispered, staring up at me with her beautiful doe eyes.
time to register what she’d done.
She tore at my t-shirt, exposing the wounds as she pulled off her own shirt, and tied it around my shoulder as a makeshift bandage. “That should slow the bleeding long enough for you to regenerate. Are you okay?”
I smiled weakly. “If I’d have known that getting shot by an arrow would’ve given me this view, I’d have done it a long time ago, princess.” I stared up at her exposed bra, salivating at the rise of her chest over the pretty fabric, and marvelled at her toned stomach. Shit, she was fucking beautiful.
She took my breath away, replacing my pain with an aching need to be inside her. I craved for her to accept me, to allow me into her life, to mark her as mine forever.
“I just gave up my shirt to save you. You could be more of a gentleman about it you know.” She folded her arms across her chest, but I could see the approval in her eyes. She liked the way I stared appreciatively.
“Oh, you mean to save me from the wound I incurred by saving you?” I counter balanced, batting my eyes.
“So, chivalrous one minute, and pervert the next?”
“I like to think I’m well rounded.” I stood, wobbling ever so slightly as I fought to find my balance. “I’m okay,” I said as she hurried to hold onto me, wrapping my arm around her shoulders. “Just watch out for the trip wire next time,” I joked.
“It’s all your fault anyway. You distract me too much,” she berated, heading into the apartment.
I shook my head. “Says the woman walking around half naked.” How was a man to concentrate when the temptation of a goddess stood before him?
“Better make the most of it, sunshine. This’ll be the last time you’ll see me this way,” she threatened.

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Kira also known as Midnight worked for PDSIS (Paranormal Division of the Secret Intelligence Service). She was one of the best and had a reputation for closing cases to keep up and nothing, not anyone, not even a hot sex Lieutenant Colonel Werewolf soldier who makes her wolf want more.
Lieutnant Colonel Ryker also known as Storm is in command of a team of elite werewolf soldiers. He also has a military dog named Nero.  Once he meets Kira he wants to know more about her than that she is just doing her job.
Kira job is to recruit Ryker no matter what and is not to take no for an answer.  In the process of trying to convince him, someone is trying to murder him, his team and her. The question is who is it? And Why?
Sparks begin to fly between Kira and Ryker both realizing that they are mates. But Kira holds back because she doesn’t want to lose someone she cares about. But with people after Kira, Ryker and his team they must work together. Once Kira is kidnapped Ryker will do whatever it takes to find and get her back safe and make her his. Will Ryker be in time to save her? Or is he will he be too late?  Will they find out who wants them dead?
This is a great series; this book has all three parts of the series in one book. From start to finish the author draws you in so that you do not want to stop reading. There is laughter, anger, drama, hot sex werewolves, and suspense.  Her characters have well developed and the way the story is written makes you want to read more. There is romance and plenty of heroes for everyone to like and bad guys to hate.
