Kindra is about to imprint with a sexy werewolf named Judden.
Kindra must find her place in the pack and help Judden deal with what is to
come. The pack north wants a war but all Judden wants is peace with his
brothers and his mate.
Will Kindra finally feel like she belongs? Will Judden step up
when his pack needs him to? Find out in the Imprinted: The Series.
“Did you…” She didn’t know what to say. He
leaned into her and placed his lips on hers. Her body woke up to his touch,
making her lean into him, trying to let her body touch him more. He broke off,
breathing heavily, his hot breath turning Kindra on even more. She could smell
him, an earthy tone with a hint of soap. She felt her heat getting ready for
him, a coil tightened around her that only he could release.
“I didn’t know that was going to happen. But
I’m glad it did.” Judden’s face was inches away from Kindra’s.
“What do you mean? What was that you shocked
me with?” Kindra was baffled.
“Well that’s hard to explain, but I’m glad I
found you.”
“You’re scaring me a little.” Her body went
rigid in his cage of human flesh. He smiled at her.
“Don’t be scared.” A wave of relaxation came
with Judden’s words. She felt safer around him than she should. There was a
calming warmth that wrapped around her, soothing her heart rate a little. The
door swung open and everyone came out clapping. She felt like an ant under a
microscope making her feel uncomfortable.
“Why are they clapping?” Kindra bit her
lower lip, she hated being on the outside of the joke.
Judden sighed. “I wish you guys were
patient.” He turned to glare at them.
“Come on, explain what happened.” Brad’s
voice sounded like he was enjoying this. Another sigh escaped Judden’s lips.
“Fine.” He turned his head back to Kindra.
“Please don’t freak out but that was an imprint.”
Kindra racked her brain to remember why that
word sounded familiar. She let her mind spin around, searching for the
correlation with imprinting. It clicked: Oh my gosh,
werewolves imprinted on women. Her eyes
widened at the conclusion of her life changing the moment she touched him. She
had heard rumors of werewolves finding mates in humans, but in California it
was a rare occurrence especially where she lived in the hot desert.
“You mean…” She paused, her voice shaking.
She took a deep breath then tried again. “What you’re saying is…” Nope she
couldn’t bring herself to say anything else. Every thought raced through her
head from what her family was going to say to what she was going to do. Judden
waited patiently for her to process, like he understood she needed a moment.
Is there a message in your
novel that you want readers to grasp? Love can be found anywhere.
Was there an Author who
inspired you to write? I have an author friend that has inspired me to write
and her name is Summer. She is awesome and pushes me to make my work better.
How did you come up with
the characters in your books? They came
to me in a dream one night when I was doing a challenge called a Story a Day in
May.
What are your current
projects? I have two one is called Shifting Tactics about a woman who just go a
divorce that has imprinted with two alphas name Oscar and Rift. They are
dealing with rouge werewolves and another pack wanting their land. My other one
has a working title as Red Eclipse about a witch who is on the run and ends up
imprinting with a werewolf who is an enforcer for his pack. He must keep
everyone in line while protecting her from her past.
Do you see writing as a career?
I would say yes if you do it right. I have known many authors who can make it
into a career.
Do you ever picture
yourself and one of your heroines? If
so, which one? Ok so this question has thrown me for a loop. I am going to
assume you mean have I pictured myself as one of my heroines and to that I
would answer a bit. I like to put bits of myself into each female character.
Do you have a favorite
heroine/hero from one of your books? If so, who? I kind of like them all. ;)
What kind of research do you
do for your books? I don’t do research for my books unless I need help with
some words. I have noticed that if I try to build on someone else’s world I get
stuck and have issues.
What is the hardest part
of writing your book? Editing my own work. Since I have decided to self-publish
after the publishing house I was going for closed down I have to do my best to
find my own mistakes which can be hard after looking at it so many times.
If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?
Reviews are important! Good reviews are always awesome but most important is
honest reviews as it helps other people choose the book.
What is your favorite Genre and why? Mine is romance,
paranormal or otherwise. I really like to see two people work their stuff out
together.
Do you prefer to write alone or do you like to collaborate
with other authors? I like to write alone but I would consider collaborating
with one other if the idea came along.
Do you ever get writer’s block? If so, how do you get
through it? I get it every now and then. Most of the time I will let the story
sit for a day or two. If I am still stuck I will re-read what I have wrote like
the last couple of pages, close my eyes and imagine the scene before me then my
imagination takes off after that.
When you are reading a book, who is your favorite author? I
have a few favorites, Decadent Kane is one of them. I really like J.K Rowling
since her books were the ones I started to read and loved them still.
Do you come up with the cover or does someone else do it? I
make all the covers myself. I like to play with photoshop.
If you could change anything in your writing what would that
be? I would change the fact that I am horrible with grammar.
What book if any would you want to be made into a movie? I
would want all my books to turn into movies. *giggle*
Who would you want to play the hero/heroine? Kindra I would
like Anna Kendrick but she would have to go blonde and find a twin. ;) For the
Judden I picture someone like Ed Westwick.
Everyone uses computers, tablets, phones and no one uses
handwritten form or typewriters, what do you prefer to use? Recently I have
handwritten my stories first then typed them into my computer as every time I
would write when my daughter was asleep she would wake from my typing.
Is there a ritual you do everything before you begin your
book? No ritual that I can remember.
What do you do when you finish your book and turn it in to
the editor? Since I self-publish I start working on the book covers and teaser
pictures so when I get my story back from the editor I can finish them up.
