Nick Marino is the star of the basketball team, grandson to the wealthiest woman in the county, and the town drug dealer. Nick introduces Dani to Thizz on their first date and suddenly smiling becomes easy, conversations are comfortable. Now if she can just figure out if the tingles she’s feeling are caused by Nick or Thizz. After a few weeks of both – she doesn’t care.
With Nick by her side, thizz flowing through her veins, and Matt keeping all her secrets – Dani settles into her new life; forgetting about the tragedy that drove her there, and the plan she had to escape.
Matt fell in love with Dani the first time he saw her.   He also knew whatever drove her from San Francisco to Eureka in her last semester of high school wasn’t something she wanted to share.  When she finally started to open up, Matt hesitated just long enough for his best friend Nick to swoop in. Forced to sit and watch their relationship grow, Matt also learns of Dani’s obsession with Thizz.  He secretly feeds her addiction in a desperate attempt to win her heart.
Pressured into joining Nick’s crew, Matt finds himself in the middle of Eureka’s own hyphy movement and the hit list of a local biker gang. When a school project uncovers a disturbing link between Dani’s parents and Nick’s uncle, Matt is torn between his loyalty to Nick and his feelings for Dani as he tries to convince Dani that her life is in real danger; while persuading Nick to turn on his uncle to save the girl they love.

Dream Cast for Indy Book Fairy

If ‘Thizz, a Love Story’ was made into a movie and you could cast anyone you wanted, who would you choose? Please feel free to include the ‘why’ for each one as well.
I am so excited for this list!  I should start by saying that I purposely left most of my character’s traits to the reader. I like to create my own visual when I read, so I wrote this book the same way.  I included the basics - hair, eyes, body type.  I like to focus more on who they are than what they look like.  The list below are the only ones I have a clear picture of in my head.  The rest I’ll leave in the hands of the casting director. :)
Dani -  Odeya Rush. She has these amazing eyes that are almost translucent.  Even though they’re the lightest shade of blue, there is something dark and mysterious behind them. Her beauty so perfectly understated. That is Dani.  She is someone that doesn’t need to look good, she just does.  She also looks really pretty when she’s sad.
Nick - Spencer Lofranco is my Nick. He’s part pretty boy, part badass. He can pull off either one and be totally believable.  If you google search him, there’s this pic of him with a hat on, it gives me chills because the look on his face embodies Nick.
Matt  - Logan Lerman.  He has the face, the hair, the eyes, the sweet smile of Matt. He looks like a guy that will never, ever, let you down. He’s also totally cute and can kick some ass if he has to!
Heather - Bella Thorne. She looks like a scary mean girl one minute, then super sweet the next.  She can also pull off any hair color!  (Heather changes her hair color all the time.)  When you look at her it’s like:  Hair - Makeup - Body.  Bam, that’s Heather.
Arnie - Noah Centenio.  Arnie is a total frat/douche boy. He’s looked at as the fool of the group. He takes his job selling drugs seriously, but that’s it. He’s the first to crack a joke at anyone’s expense. And he loves girls!  I think Noah has the goofy guy down (check out his Instagram) and can pull off the serious side of Arnie as well.
Will - Channing Tatum.  No, really. I would love to see him play the role of someone you just want to punch in the face!  Will is good looking, he’s gangster, he’s scary. He’s someone you hate, yet you kind of like having on your side.  I think Channing Tatum would be able to embody all those qualities.
