In the early hours of the morning as the numbers dwindled I felt the warmth of someone at my back. His arms glided across my shoulder and his hands clasped before me.
He leant over and whispered, “Do you have a place to sleep tonight?”
I glided my hands across the expanse of his arms and unclasped his hands to turn around and face him. “Yes.” I nodded.
“So we are agreed then,” he said as he reached down, picked me up in his arms and took me inside the house.
He placed me in a room that was lit with loads of candles; the small fireplace crackled with orange embers. The room was sparse of furniture. There was an old wooden chair and the small bed that I now lay in. I looked up at him as he stood above me. He drew a deep breath as if to soak in the moment and then walked out the door, closing it behind him.
Fuck, that was sexy, I thought to myself as I let my mind drift.
