DESCRIPTION
Shadowpeak Wolves, Book 4.
After a lifetime of being ridiculed and ignored, Hanna just wants a place to call home. But now that she has a chance to start over with a pack that will accept her, she can’t let go of her big, bad bodyguard. Marcus intrigues her, frustrates her and makes her hotter than hell. How can she leave behind the only man she’s ever wanted? The only man to stir her senses, to make her scream with pleasure.
Marcus can’t keep his hands off Hanna, but he’s not good enough for her. Except to fuck. The things he wants to do with her would keep her satisfied for years. But she doesn’t need a crusty, stuck-in-his-ways, overprotective werewolf in her life. No matter how beautifully she responds to his touch, his demands, she really needs him to keep his distance. But Hanna is his—the other half of his soul. Now he just has to figure out how to claim her.
A Romantica® paranormal erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

ABOUT LORNA JEAN ROBERTS
Lorna Jean lives in beautiful New Zealand with her partner. Reading has always been her favorite pastime, and when she’s not reading stories filled with passion and romance she finds herself dreaming up new ones. When she’s not in front of the computer screen or curled up with a book, she can usually be found drinking coffee, or shopping, or watching re-runs of Kath and Kim on DVD.

I am so screwed.
Marcus Chance rubbed his eyes as he realized he’d been staring at the same page for the last fifteen minutes. He pushed the report away with a disgusted sigh.
He couldn’t concentrate. Not with arousal pounding through his blood and flooding his body with need. It was Hanna’s fault. She had tormented him to the point that his every waking moment was spent fighting his attraction to her.

“Hanna, you’re not doing this. It’s dangerous.”
She leaned back against the striped sofa. “So give me an alternative.”
“We wait, find you somewhere else.”
“We have no time. There is nowhere else. It can’t be that dangerous.”
“I will not let you risk yourself like this,” he told her.
She opened her eyes. “Funny, I don’t see it as that much of a risk.”
“Are you crazy? It’s a huge risk, how can you not see that?”
“Because I know you’ll be there. And I know you would never let anything harm me.”
“He’s an asshole. Want me to go beat on him for a while?” His suggestion said he wouldn’t mind that at all.
“What? Who?”
“That asshole wannabe-Alpha downstairs. He’s not worth crying over, kid. You need to show him you don’t give a shit what he thinks.”

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
I love this series. Marcus is a hot sexy Alpha but really doesn’t realize he is one.  He is also the shifter who is Hanna’s bodyguard but Marcus want to do more to her body then guarding it.  They both fight their feelings for each other. But in they give in to their feelings but when they have to leave the cabin and go to another pack where Marcus will be in charge but Hanna cannot be with him so she is set up with two very hot sexy wolves as her boyfriend. When Marcus sees her again he gets angry because of how close she and the other two wolves have become. In his anger he forgets it is not real. They do this so that the other pack will not hurt Hanna and she is protected. Will Marcus ruin any chance of a future with Hanna because of his jealousy? Or will she truly fall for the two hot sexy wolves she came with? Will Hanna be safe? Or will her original pack kill her before Marcus comes to his senses?
This is a great story, from the beginning to the end it is a page turner.  There were times though that I wanted to reach through the book and slap Marcus upside the head. There were so many elements in the story that kept you wanting to keep reading.
