I
responded to all questions as the character of Mrs. Marshall in ‘Murder at
Midnight’.
What is your character’s name? Mrs. Marshall
Does the character have a nickname? She’s called a ‘witch’ behind her back. This is
because she knows an awful lot about other people and not the kind of things
they want others to know about.
What is your characters hair color? Eye color? Black hair and brown eyes.
What kind of distinguishing facial features does your
character have? She’s tall
with engaging round eyes which remind one of an owl. Her protruding ears hear
far more than others around her.
What is one strong memory that has stuck with your character
from childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting? The recent death of her husband in a car accident
and which led to her recent adventure.
What is your character's least favorite season? The rainy season. It hinders her
movement and ability to keep an observant eye on happenings around her.
What do you consider the most important event of your life
so far? The birth of my
daughter, Maria Marshall.
Who has had the most influence on you? My late husband who died in a
recent car accident.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Freeing people from the shackles
of self-deceit they weave around themselves.
What is your greatest regret? The loss of family members in tragic circumstances.
What is the most evil thing you have ever done? Defining evil is often a matter
of perception. For telling people the truth about themselves, I am often
perceived as evil or a witch.
If you died or went missing, who would miss you? My daughter, Maria Marshall
would miss me.
Who is the person you despise the most, and why? I despise those who are not
honest with themselves. People like Tonye Briggs and Pastor Willy.
Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social
situations? Yes, I do.
Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or
why not? Yes, I enjoy
watching the dynamics which plays out in large groups of people. The power
play, deceits, love intrigues and alliances.
Do you care what others think of you? I am unmoved by what others
think of me.
If you could change one thing, what would it be, and why? I wish I had the ability to undo
the past with regards the tragic loss of loved ones.
