I always loved to read, but once my kids started coming the number of books I read a week increased. The books varied from science fiction to historical fiction. After reading a historical romance novel I found myself hooked. I couldn't get enough of them. My love of historical romances soon evolved into wanting to write one of my own. Along with historicals I've tried my hand at paranormals, my latest obsession.

This is a novella and it is the fourth in the Cougar Surrender Series. This book was a fast paced novella. Like any other novella that you love you want it to be longer. I love this authors stories and this series leaves you wanting more.
In this story you meet Grady who is a cougar shifter and wants nothing more to find the happiness his brother has found but he also know he must find Caleb who is wanted by the shifters. After leaving a bar he picks up Caleb's sent and follows it but instead of getting Caleb, Caleb gets the jump on him and hits him with a metal pipe. An unexpected person saved Grady's life. A police officer, yeah that's right a police officer. It will be interesting to see how he explains this. Well this police officer just happens to be a woman named Sage. To keep her from calling an ambulance he figures the only way to shut her up is by kissing her. Well it worked, she was stunned and couldn't think straight except for agreeing to go out with Grady on a date. He showed up at her house and unfortunately tragedy struck and Sage's world was about to change. Would she be able to let Grady in her life? Or will this tragedy destroy what they could have? Sorry folks, I am not going to tell you will have to read the book to see.
Like I said before it is a fast paced story that there are hot, sexy, shifters that will eat you alive and leave you wanting more. It is a excellent story to read. Did I tell you it had hot, sexy, cougar shifters in it?
