Blush sensuality level: This is a sensual romance (may have explicit love scenes, but not erotic in frequency or type).

When Prince Ceros returns home to take his place on the throne, he falls prey to a mysterious malady that leaves him unable to speak or move, though his thoughts and awareness remain intact. Danet, a talented healer, realizes the prince is alert inside his body. The two are able to share thoughts telepathically. Unfortunately her connection with Ceros may bring unwanted attention to her abilities and result in her banishment from the city.
Their unique bond grows as Danet races to find a remedy for the prince’s condition. Desire turns to love, which makes Danet fear for their future when he awakens. They seek out the villain attempting to take the throne and endeavor to find a way to stay together.
Inside Scoop: Ceros’ secret shifter status adds complication and intrigue to their budding romance.
A Blush® fantasy romance from Ellora’s Cave

So you want to know a little about me?
Hmmm… I love to read. That’s how I escape. Romance is my genre - the hotter the better – but a happy ever after is a must!
When I’m not reading or writing, I make beaded jewelry. It keeps me and my BFF accessorized.
On the rare occasion that I plop in front of the TV, it’s probably to watch Doctor Who or re-runs of Castle.
In my house, there is an overweight cat who demands her share of Goldfish crackers every time I rattle the bag and a very sweet, very loyal Labrador mix. Neither of which realize they’re pets. The cat thinks she a Goddess. The dog thinks she one of my kids. Not sure where I went wrong…

“Something is not quite right, Gehiji.” Ceros turned in the direction of Gehiji’s voice, but he couldn’t focus on his face. “My eligari seems to disapprove of carrying me.”
“I’m not sure it’s your eligari.”
Ceros felt someone grab on of his arms and pull.
Ceros? What’s wrong?”
That’s a very creative use of more than a dozen curses. And all of them used in a single thought too.
Ceros was startled by the sound of a female voice inside his head. Oh Gods, I’ve finally gone mad. Now I’m hearing voices.
You haven’t gone any more mad than I, the voice attempted to reassure him.

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

This is not my typical book I read but it sounded interesting and it was.  I liked how the author drew you in from the beginning and allowed you like the characters in the book figure out what was going on.  Even though there is death, sadness and unusual events happening you laugh right along with the characters.  If you are not into love, beast, sex, intrigue, and really hot men, and hot hot sex then this book may not be for you but if you are then I would definitely read this book.

If you could hear someone’s thoughts or speak to someone through your mind would you want to?  How would you feel if someone could listen to your thoughts?  I am so glad no one could hear mine.  In this story Danet can hear the thoughts of Prince Ceros who was just arriving at his home to take his place on the throne but somehow he ended up unable to move any part of his body. He could only think what he wanted to say and Danet a healer was the person who could hear him.  The questions are can she heal the prince? Or will he be like this forever?  With their feelings for each other growing will they be about to be together forever?  Or will the person or persons who put him this way end it all for them?
