DESCRIPTION
Sunny has given up on finding a mate, knowing she isn’t cut out for pride life, and sneaks away from her overprotective brothers to start over in Portland. When she meets Blake, though, all bets are off. He’s human, but she doesn’t care that a relationship with him is forbidden. He makes her happy and is the only man to challenge her during sex.
Blake thinks he has a good life as chef and co-owner of a successful vegetarian restaurant. Meeting Sunny, though, makes him realize what he’s missing. He falls for her fast and hard when she welcomes his inner caveman in the bedroom. He’s ready to commit until her brothers interfere, whisking her away.
Before they can find their way back to each other Blake is mistakenly targeted by a shifter scientist with an evil agenda. Suddenly he’s an unwilling member of a hidden world and doesn’t know if he can forgive Sunny’s deception.
A Romantica® paranormal erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

A goddess of the domestic arts I am not. I’d rather be reading, writing or crafting. I’m a maker; making things keeps my universe in balance. I divide my time between making babies, new stories, and hand-knitted garments.
I’ve been writing almost as long as I’ve been reading (which is a very long time!). Though I toyed with other career choices in the past, the desire to be an author never wavered. As I approached another decade in my life I realized it was now or never, so I set some hard deadlines and finished my first manuscript.
The power of fiction has always fascinated me; it’s a realm where anything goes. Fiction allows full expression of anything the imagination can think up, so there are no rules! The real world can be too sad and serious to stay there all the time so I escape into an alternative world within a good book. If I’m not reading or writing, you can find me curled up with my needles and yarn, knitting something beautiful and warm.

As he continued to stand there and watch her, his male brain began cataloguing her sensual parts, combining to make her altogether perfect whole. Longish, sandy-blonde hair, pulled into a flirty ponytail, perky breasts just the right size to fill his palms—the best size, in his opinion—sweetly rounded hips and a curvy…
His brain stuttered to a halt when her cherry-red skirt flipped up, revealing her curvy ass cheeks, daringly exposed by her tiny blue-green panties.
“Huh,” Blake grunted, feeling Blake Jr. rising, imparting his seal of approval. Hearing a thunk, he wrenched his eyes up in time to see her bump her head. He winced in sympathy.

“Yeah, so? What the hell does—”
So,” Jansher interrupted, “Andrew found a small boutique in Hawthorne selling a line of clothes designed by ‘Sunny Daze’, an up-and-coming local indie designer.” He paused to let the information sink in.
“Sunny Daze? You think little Sunshine went to Portland to make it big as a fashion designer?” Corryn scoffed. “It sounds like some New Age hippie crap to me. Our Sunshine isn’t into that scene.”
“It’s ‘Sunny Daze’, as in a shortened form of ‘Sunshine Daisy’ Bastet. You do know she went to school and got her degree in design, right? Those years she spent taking classes all added up to a deep background and education in fashion design. Why else would she take the classes and work so hard unless she intended on doing something with it?”

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

Sunny was a shifter how could not take her over protective brothers and gave up on finding her mate. So she left and when she arrived in Portland she found herself embarrassed and looking into the eyes of a very sexy chef names Blake. She knew that their relationship could never really be but she didn’t care she wanted to taste every inch of him and boy did she.
Blake was a hot sexy chef and human all the way. The first time he saw Sunny he really got to see her “assets” and knew he wanted to see the rest and get to know her better.
Unfortunately her overly protective brothers found her and took her away from him. Blake was attacked by a scientist and thrown into a world he didn’t know and found out just who Sunny really was.  Will this destroy what Sunny and Blake were building? Or will her deception destroy what they had?  Can he forgive her for her deception?
This was a well written story that kept you wanting more.  It was not really long but it flowed throughout the story.
