DESCRIPTION
Book 1 of the Kennel Klub series.
The Kennel Klub takes pride in matching dominant shifters with the perfect mates.
Theo is looking for just that—someone to pleasure, to love, to take care of. Having dealt with tremendous personal losses, Theo uses his human form as a shield. No one can hurt him if he’s human.
Drew hasn’t shifted in more than a year. After spending his life serving a cruel alpha, he was cast aside. Drew has found that it’s easier to protect himself if he’s a wolf. A sub at heart, Drew is apprehensive at the concept of losing control. But as Theo arouses deep needs in Drew, he’ll learn that ceding his will is just the beginning of this erotic battle.
Inside Scoop: Theo’s dominant nature may be just what Drew needs. These same-sex shapeshifters will burn up the sheets!
A Romantica® gay erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

ABOUT SEAN MICHAEL
Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice", Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and pursuing the kama sutra by channeling the long-lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to Chicago.
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.

Favorite Quotes:

“Drew. Yes. He’s the one I’d chosen for you.”
Drew.
“Drew.” He liked the way the name shaped his lips. “How do I claim him?”
“He’s signed himself over to the club. His safeword is nickel. He hasn’t been in his human form since he signed his contract.”
Fascinating. “And how long ago was that?”
“He’s been here for sixteen months. I believe he needs…the perfect person.”

“I’ve got you, pup.” Drew had to learn to trust him. With all of himself. With everything.

“Shh.” It was murmured, his belly patted, as if Theo could hear him thinking. “Sleep, pup.”
“You’ll be here? Later?”
“Not going anywhere.”
Drew yawned, settled in. He would trust. Kyle loved him, wouldn’t lead him wrong. Which meant Theo was a good Were.

This book was given to me in exchanged for an honest review.

This is a very short novella, and it is not exactly what I thought.  If you enjoy male/male interaction then you will like this.  This is a about Drew who is a wolf who was not treated well by his Alpha and then had his Alpha give him up. So he is turned himself over to The Kennel Klub.  He also has not been in human form in many years until he meets Theo.
Theo is a Dom and he is looking for a “pup” for a sub.  Theo is a cat shifter and he doesn’t want a perfect sub he wants one that will give him some kind of challenge and when he first sees Drew he knew that he was the one.  They start an adventure to get to know each other and both are going to learn to trust each other. Like Drew Theo has been hurt and needs someone to love him as much as he wants someone to love.
