When she accidentally runs into the back of a gorgeous stranger’s truck at a stoplight, the last thing on Kassie’s mind is indulging in her deepest, hottest fantasies with him. Until he shows up on her doorstep as the contractorshe’d hoped to hire to remodel her home and things get interesting…fast.
With a sexy drawl, skilled hands and a body that makes her panties all but melt, Jax is exactly the kind of man she shouldn’t get involved with after breaking off her engagement and starting over in another state. But she’s helpless to resist the powerful desire he makes her feel, and before long she’s letting him have his wicked way with her all over town.
Jax knows falling for a woman like Kassie’s a bad idea. He’s experienced enough heartbreak to see the signs. He can tell she’s ready to run, but when she’s in his arms, he’ll do everything he can to make her stay.

ABOUT SCARLETT SCOTT
Award-winning author Scarlett Scott writes contemporary and historical romance with heat, heart and happily ever afters. After growing up on romance novels, she now crafts love stories of her own with a good dose of sizzle and an equal amount of humor. She lives in the Pennsylvania countryside with her Canadian husband and is a proud mom to their adorable but occasionally evil dog with a penchant for eating everything he shouldn't.

She swallowed. Then, something totally crazy happened. Model Man looked into the mirror, meeting her gaze, and a spark shot straight through her. Awareness. Hunger. Oh my God, she was actually turned-on from making eye contact with a man. It was a whole new low.
She jerked her gaze away and hit the gas, somehow forgetting to check the traffic light first. And crashed right into the rear end of Model Man’s big, shiny alpha truck. Her entire body jolted forward with the force of the impact. Shock hit her, making her hands shake.

Her lips quirked into a reluctant smile. “I’m usually not that bad at driving, I swear.”
He had a feeling that her idea of bad driving and his were vastly different, but he wisely kept that to himself. He’d never know how she managed to smash into him when they were at a complete stop and the light was still red. Had she been texting? It didn’t quite make sense, but she’d been majorly distracted, that much he knew. “As long as traffic lights aren’t involved, that is.”
She grimaced, managing to somehow still look adorable. “When am I going to live this down?”
He pretended to think her question over. “Never.”
“You don’t play fair,” she accused, but her eyes were sparkling.
“I try not to,” he agreed, grinning unrepentantly.

“He’s got it bad for Kassie,” Slade agreed. “She must have a magical—”
“Hey,” Jax interrupted before his asshole younger brother went there. “Watch it. She’s a lady.”
Slade grinned. “I never said she wasn’t.”

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

This was a story that from that beginning you knew that there was going to be trouble.  From the start Kassie is so busy ogling the guy in the truck in front of her at the stop light that when he looked at her in the mirror she accidently hit the gas and crashed right into the back of his brand new truck.  Oops!!! Jax thought his day couldn’t get any worse when all of a sudden someone crashed into the back of his brand new truck and then he saw her, Kassie was a beautiful women who he would love to get to know better but meeting this was not a way to meet.  Then he ends up being late for his appointment and when he arrives at the house who answers the door, Kassie.  Oh man he didn’t know what to think. Was it fate? Or was it just his luck?  Well either way he didn’t mind and it seemed she didn’t either by the end of their first meeting they could not keep their hands off each other.  But there was one major problem they both had trust issues.  The question is will they allow their fears and trust issues destroy what they are building? Or will their love for each other be enough to get them through the rough times?
