When I listen to music with lyrics when I write, I get way too distracted, so I listen to Soundtracks instead. Some of my favorites are from video games because it helps me keep my pacing fast. The one I have on repeat a lot is from MAG, called The Fire Within by Apocalyptica. I can listen to it and zone out with my story.

London does it again! I fell in love with author when I read her Sweet Bloood series and she didn't disappoint with Iron Portal. This series doesn't have vampires or blood but, it has the fierce warriors that we all love. Cascadian Warriors are fierce and amazing!  There is a war going on between the worlds on each size of the portal. The "armies" are doing are doing horrible things and blaming the "barbarians" for these things.

Rickert is a Iron Guild Warrior who lost his sister and has deep hatred for all of the Pacificans. Neyla is a "solider" she doesn't want to be, the army is making her because she has a Protection Talent. When these 2 meet it's not under the best terms. Fate has different plans for them though. All of London's book are spectacular and this one was the same. It was great writing, hot scenes, amazing story lines, and makes you want to know of these Cascadian Warriors. I'm off to read book 2 now.

Oh yes Asher is my new favorite Cascadian Warriors! He's so deliciously complex and OMG he's the perfect bad boy! This book made me blush in a way I haven't I a very long time! That doesn't happen often but, Asher is a bad bad boy!

Ash and Olivia meet after a bombing where they both learn some secrets about each other.  It started out a week long affair and turned into SO much more. Ash must find the fixer and Olivia must keep one step away from the army. She has a Healing Talent.

These two have been burned in the past and I loved reading about them together! This Iron Portal series is becoming a fast favorite!
