This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
This was a novella and right from the start there was action
and sadness. You could feel Isabella’s pain and anger. She lost her brother to
a Nightmix and she and her dad are out to kill every one of them. But the
problem is she is being watched. Isabella spots one and goes on the chase but
it isn’t what it seems. Isabella is not the one hunting but instead she is being
hunted.
Reuben is a man and a Nightmix and spots Isabella sitting on
her horse waiting to kill him but he is pulled toward her and kidnaps her and
takes her to his cabin. As they are starting to grow closer the one thing that
keeps them from completely committing to each other is the death of her
brother… Oh, wait, also the fact which Reuben hasn’t told her that he is a
prince; oops that is a major problem. Will the fact that he is a Nightmix
destroy what they are building together? Or will the fact that he is not only a
Nightmix but also a prince end the love they are starting to feel for each
other? How will Isabella explain that
the man she has fallen in love with a Nightmix and a prince? Will her father give his blessing?
