DESCRIPTION
Immortal Embrace, Book Two
Christian Voss’ immortal existence becomes a little less boring the second he meets his new assistant, Emma Hayes. Her fiery personality and raw sex appeal bring out his every carnal instinct, their chemistry charged and volatile. Christian enjoys the challenge, feeling alive for the first time in centuries. Sex with Emma is a drug he can’t resist, and he’s not about to give her up.
Emma is no easy conquest. She fights him at every turn, frightened by the growing desires threatening her will. Her reservations are fueled by guilt over the loss of her family, and Christian vows to help her find the vampire responsible. But when secrets from her past come to light, the truth may be more than a mere mortal can bear.
When two worlds collide, the resulting conflagration of passion, pain and revenge could leave Christian and Emma changed forever.
Inside Scoop: Necks are so passé. These provocative vampires sometimes like to drink from more…intimate body parts.
A Romantica® paranormal erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

I have been writing for several years and truly enjoy it. I work in the legal field during the day. To say my life is very full is an understatement, but I would not change a thing because I am blessed. I am never bored when I am sitting at the computer engrossed in the world I am creating for others to enjoy. I don’t get much sleep, but I can sleep when I am dead. Thank god for coffee and energy drinks. Writing is my passion. Everyone should follow their dreams and live life to the fullest—this is my dream.
I love romance and believe in the fairy tale. I’m a sappy romantic at heart, and addicted to putting my crazy romantic thoughts on paper. When I was eleven, I read all of Judy Blume’s books. My favorite was her adult book, Wifey; I had the good parts marked. I will never forget that book or the impact it had on me. Needless to say, I love a juicy romance novel filled with sizzling passion, a hunky powerful male and a happy ending. I enjoy being swept away by it. I love fantasy romance: Laurann Dohner, Kresley Cole, Gina Showalter, Jaid Black and Larissa Ione, to name a few. These authors are an inspiration to me in this craft. Writing is a passion. As Laurann Dohner said so eloquently, “There is nothing better than a really HOT book!” I agree.
Happy reading, everyone.

Favorite Quotes:

“Something wrong, Sir?” She knew what that hungry expression meant. It wasn’t happening again.
“I think you look beautiful dressed in a skirt and heels.”
“What—this costume? That’s all it is. Don’t get used to it.” Clearly she’d have to find a way to somehow extricate herself from the trap she’d created by allowing Cain in. It didn’t help that the wall she’d built around her emotions made it hard to accept praise from the opposite sex, especially if they had to do with her looks.
“Is there a problem with me giving you a compliment?” He put his hands on his hips.
“I’m not the girlie type, Sir, so yeah, I do kind of take issue with it.” She rolled her eyes to make light of her comment.
“You’re still a woman, Em.”
He leaned forward and ran his nose along her jawline. “I wish things could be different between us.” His voice was a soft whisper against her neck. Did he notice how much his words affected her?
“This isn’t natural. I can’t…” Oh God, that feels good. Christian moved is hips lazily against her heat, stroking her in just the right spot. Her legs trembled and her nails dug into his arms. Think of something else, anything to resist.
“Maybe we can work this out somehow. Aren’t you willing to at least explore the idea?”

This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
Oh!!! Man this is a sexy action packed, romantic hot vampire book.  This story was well written and you wanted more.  The characters were well developed and hot and sexy. This is the second book in the series and even though I haven’t read the first one, I was able to understand what was happening in this one.
Emma was a strong and angry and loving person. Christian was a sexy hot vampire. I wouldn’t mind him biting me. There is struggle between them. She is also struggling the feeling for Christian she has because one of his kind killed someone she loved. Will she let go of the past to have a life with Christian? Or will she let her anger and hatred consumer her and destroy what she could have?
